Global Yes to Conservation

The ecosystem is dependent on us for survival, and We must arise as intentional advocates of the environment. Humans are the causes of pollution, waste and disruption of biodiversity activities. Conservation means to protect, care and manage the Earth and its inherent resources for current and future generations. We have caused a lot of damages already. It is our responsibility to care for the planet, its resources and survival of all life for our future and collective well-being.

The 17 Sustainable Development Goals


The 17 SDGs are a set of 17 goals and 169 targets that were adopted by the United Nations in 2015 as a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure that by 2030 all people enjoy peace and prosperity. They are based on the principle of leaving no one behind and aim to balance social, economic and environmental sustainability.
  • Goal 1: No poverty. This goal aims to end extreme poverty, ensure social protection, and promote equal access to economic resources and basic services for all people.
  • Goal 2: Zero hunger. This goal aims to end hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition, and promote sustainable agriculture.
  • Goal 3: Good health and well-being. This goal aims to ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages, by reducing maternal and child mortality, combating diseases, ensuring universal health coverage, and promoting mental health and healthy behaviors.
  • Goal 4: Quality education. This goal aims to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and lifelong learning opportunities for all, by increasing access to early childhood development, primary and secondary education, literacy and numeracy skills, technical and vocational skills, and higher education.
  • Goal 5: Gender equality. This goal aims to achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls, by ending all forms of discrimination, violence, and harmful practices against them, ensuring their full participation in decision-making, enhancing their sexual and reproductive health and rights, and promoting their economic opportunities.
  • Goal 6: Clean water and sanitation. This goal aims to ensure availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all, by improving water quality, increasing water efficiency, protecting water resources, expanding access to safe drinking water and adequate sanitation, and promoting hygiene practices.
  • Goal 7: Affordable and clean energy. This goal aims to ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all, by increasing the share of renewable energy sources, improving energy efficiency, expanding energy infrastructure and services, and promoting clean technologies.
  • Goal 8: Decent work and economic growth. This goal aims to promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all, by fostering innovation, entrepreneurship, diversification, productivity, labor rights, social protection, and youth employment.
  • Goal 9: Industry, innovation and infrastructure. This goal aims to build resilient infrastructure, promote inclusive and sustainable industrialization and foster innovation, by developing quality, reliable and sustainable infrastructure, enhancing technological capabilities, supporting domestic industries, increasing access to information and communication technologies (ICTs), and facilitating scientific research.
  • Goal 10: Reduced inequalities. This goal aims to reduce inequality within and among countries, by empowering the poor and marginalized groups, ensuring equal opportunities and outcomes for all, promoting social inclusion and non-discrimination policies, facilitating safe migration and mobility of people.
  • Goal 11: Sustainable cities and communities. This goal aims to make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable, by enhancing urban planning and management, improving housing and basic services, promoting public transport and green spaces, reducing environmental impact and disaster risk, and preserving cultural and natural heritage.
  • Goal 12: Responsible consumption and production. This goal aims to ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns, by reducing waste and pollution, promoting resource efficiency and circular economy, encouraging sustainable lifestyles and behaviors, and strengthening corporate and consumer responsibility.
  • Goal 13: Climate action. This goal aims to take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts, by strengthening resilience and adaptive capacity, integrating climate measures into policies and plans, enhancing education and awareness, mobilizing finance and technology, and implementing the Paris Agreement.
  • Goal 14: Life below water. This goal aims to conserve and sustainably use the oceans, seas and marine resources for sustainable development, by preventing and reducing marine pollution, protecting and restoring marine ecosystems, managing fisheries and aquaculture sustainably, increasing ocean knowledge and research, and enhancing international cooperation.
  • Goal 15: Life on land. This goal aims to protect, restore and promote sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems, sustainably manage forests, combat desertification, halt and reverse land degradation, and halt biodiversity loss, by conserving and restoring natural habitats, promoting sustainable forest management and land use, preventing and reducing deforestation and land degradation, combating poaching and trafficking of wildlife, and enhancing global cooperation.
  • Goal 16: Peace, justice and strong institutions. This goal aims to promote peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, provide access to justice for all and build effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels, by reducing violence and crime, ending abuse and exploitation of people, ensuring the rule of law and human rights, strengthening governance and public service delivery, and promoting participation and transparency.
  • Goal 17: Partnerships for the goals. This goal aims to strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development, by mobilizing resources and enhancing capacities, improving policy coherence and coordination, fostering multi-stakeholder partnerships, and supporting data collection and monitoring.
